I\u2019m delighted to let you know that my new book Seriously Playful Creativity: An A to Z of Creative Action and Reflection<\/b> <\/a>is out in the world and even more delighted to see a diversity of interest from accountants, health professionals, management consultants, coaches, leaders in organisations, creative practitioners, academics and entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also being stocked in a few of my favourite creative bookstores in Brisbane. The QAGOMA (Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art) bookshop and SLQ (State Library of Queensland) Bookshop and MoB (The Museum of Brisbane Shop).<\/p>\n

Seriously Playful Creativity: An A to Z of Creative Action and Reflection<\/b><\/a>\u00a0is 100% Australian made \u2013 written, edited, designed and printed here in Brisbane, Australia.<\/p>\n

All the people who helped to bring the book to life Camilla Gray Design, Bev Ryan Publishing, Rebecca McCallion \u2013 The Writers Edge, Deborah Jackson -Spot Yellow Digital and Makaylah Matthews-Mullins – Inhouse Printing and Publishing are local businesses. The front cover and inside illustrations are my own. We have so much creative talent locally and need to celebrate that.\u00a0 All of this happened through Covid 2020.<\/p>\n

One of my favourite proverbs is \u201cIf you want to go fast go alone; if you want to travel far, go with others.”<\/b><\/p>\n

This is so true; it is not possible to do everything alone and sometimes it is simply not as much fun.\u00a0 The sum is often greater than the parts.<\/p>\n
