{"id":1239,"date":"2020-08-04T12:14:03","date_gmt":"2020-08-04T12:14:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.maverickminds.com.au\/?p=1239"},"modified":"2021-02-22T23:39:28","modified_gmt":"2021-02-22T23:39:28","slug":"what-we-can-learn-from-creative-pursuits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.maverickminds.com.au\/stories\/what-we-can-learn-from-creative-pursuits\/","title":{"rendered":"What we can learn from creative pursuits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Being limited to where we can go and what we can do does have benefits.\u00a0 From my perspective it has provided quality time for various creative pursuits and being in my art studio.\u00a0 Aesthetics has a huge influence in how I approach things in life.\u00a0 Making art contributes positively to my sense of wellbeing.\u00a0 I get enormous satisfaction experimenting with materials and exploring ideas.\u00a0 Talking with a colleague recently, we both acknowledged that the artists world is often one of solitude.\u00a0 It is true that many artists create alone for periods of time.\u00a0 We decided it has probably prepared us for this time of isolation.\u00a0 Time alone is a gift and its worth cultivating a sense of peace and enjoyment being in own company.\u00a0 Life if full of constraints.
